I am passionate about music, dance, literature and safeguarding our documented cultural heritage for future generations.

My affinity and strong conviction is found in conserving the cultural histories of the islands and by collecting, preserving, and safeguarding the written heritage of Aruba and the Caribbean, providing availability to the community at large. Art and Culture should become a core subject in the curricula at school.

My dream for the future of Art and Culture in the Caribbean is a tight collaboration across the islands and the positive energy to showcase our creativity and culture to the world. Within this dream our music is an aspect that strikes a special cord.
