Sea and Learn Foundation and Saba Reach Foundation joined forces in this wonderful project ‘Create & Learn’. A month-long program on SABA, hosted by 15 craftsmen of different skills, holding workshops and teaching participants new crafts and art forms. There are many art forms traditional to Saba like Saba Lace, The Saba Hoo-bush baskets, and the Saba woven hats, incorporated into this program.
The goal is to link other art forms to traditional Saban practices and to create a fusion Saban Art. Also to spend time in the local schools to incorporate their skills into the school curriculum. Locals, tourists, and children are all welcome to participate.
The PBCCG is extremely proud of this initiative and calls out to other NGO’s to join their forces and create more beauty!
